What can you do?

1.  Use this site to find local musicians you would like to see.  Not only do the musicians appreciate an audience, but a crowd makes a performer look better to the venue that has hired him, so he has a better chance of being booked again. If the musician accepts tips, be generous.  Sometimes he is playing for tips alone.  Some performers have CDs for sale, so buy them and take the music home with you.  Sign the mailing lists. 2.  Use this site to find a new venue you’ve never been to before.  Support the venues that give the musicians a place to play.  Purchase food and/or drink to show your appreciation.  Tip your waiters, waitresses, and bartenders. 3.  Spread the word to your friends that this site exists to give local musicians and venues a place to list all their schedules.  The more traffic we get, the more features we can add. 4.  If you are a musician, send us your schedule.  If you know someone who is a musician, tell him/her to send us a schedule.  All listings here are FREE for musicians in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware. (We will occasionally list a national act, but only if a local act is on the same bill, or if the venue usually features local musicians.)
Music hath charms...
We would appreciate any suggestions for new features you would like to see here. The e-mail address is listed at the bottom of every page, so feel free to tell us what you like, what you don’t like, or anything else you want to say. Find mistakes, misspelled words, or links that don’t work. You can also send a brief review of an artist, a venue, or a show you have seen.  We will publish what we can, but we reserve the right to pick and choose.

Sometimes, you will see the

tag, “

a Brew Pick” on a

show listing, or on a venue

page.  This simply means

that we recommend what is

tagged. Sure, you may

disagree, but we are just

trying to help you to find

shows you may enjoy.  Of

course, many times there are

great shows that we don’t

tag.  That does not reflect

negatively on them.

Sometimes, it means we

have not seen the performer,

so it’s really hard to

recommend him/her.

We also try to tag only a

limited number of shows on

the calendar page.
